Unskilled Workers (56 Positions)
The majority of vacancies are for Unskilled Workers.
Daily Rate
- R132.96 per day
Minimum qualification
Applicants must have either:
- Grade 10
or
- National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Level 2 or an equivalent qualification.

Duties of the Unskilled Workers
Successful applicants will mainly support the municipality’s Waste Management Division.
Daily responsibilities may include:
- Litter picking
- Street sweeping
- Street cleaning
- Clearing illegal dumping sites
- Assisting with waste minimisation initiatives
- Maintaining public spaces
- Performing duties assigned by supervisors
The municipality indicates that workers may also be deployed to other operational areas where required.
